Windows 7 Pro 32 bit IIS – Initial Setup
Prerequisites to Install

  1. SQL Server 2014
  2. .Net Framework 4.6
  3. Windows Updates
  4. Install EDC

Install IIS & .Net Framework

    1. Start – Control Panel – Programs and Features
    2. Turn Windows Features On or Off
    3. Select – “Internet Information Services” (check in the box)
    4. Select – “Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5.1”

** May require Reboot

Add EDC to IIS Application

  1. Start – Control Panel – Internet Information Services Manager (IIS)
  2. Expand – the computer Name
  3. Expand – “Sites”
  4. Expand – “Default Web Sites”
  5. Right Click on “Default Web Sites”
  6. “Add Application”
  7. “Alias” = AldeloEDC
  8. “Physical path:” C:\Program Files\Aldelo\Aldelo EDC\Server

REGISTER ASPNET

  1. Start – Type: CMD – Right Click and Run as Admin
  2. cd c:\windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319 (Hit Enter)
  3. aspnet_regiis.exe -i (Hit Enter)

  3. Windows Updates
  4. Install EDC

Install IIS & .Net Framework

  1. Start – Control Panel – Programs and Features
  2. Turn Windows Features On or Off
  3. Select – “Internet Information Services” (check in the box)
  4. Select – “Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5.1”(check in the box)

** May require Reboot

Add EDC to IIS Application

  1. Start – Control Panel – Admin Tools Internet Information Services Manager (IIS)
  2. Expand – the computer Name
  3. Expand – “Sites”
  4. Expand – “Default Web Sites”
  5. Right Click on “Default Web Sites”
  6. “Add Application”
  7. “Alias” = AldeloEDC
  8. “Physical path:” C:\Program Files (x86)\Aldelo\Aldelo EDC\Server
  9. Select “Application Pools”
  10. Highlight “Default App Pool”
  11. In the far right pane Select “Advanced”
  12. 32 bit enabled = Select True from the drop down

REGISTER ASPNET

  1. Start – Type: CMD – Right Click and Run as Admin

  3. aspnet_regiis.exe -i (Hit Enter)
  4. * Is rare but sometimes you will need to run the other command for 64 but its rare.
  5. cd C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319 (Hit Enter)
  6. aspnet_regiis.exe -i (Hit Enter)

Windows 8 Pro 64 bit IIS – Initial Setup

  8. Select “HTTP Activation”
