This sounds like the system for some reason is running slowly, or you could have a problem with the MSR Reader. Start by attempting to clean the MSR Reader. If that does not help at all I would check your windows task manager to see if any of the systems processes are using somewhere between 90%-100% of the CPU and if it is I would end the process and see if the problem continues.

I am not getting e-mail notifications when I close my batch from inside of Aldelo but I do get them when the batch auto settles through EDC. Is this normal?
Posted onYes this is normal the e-mail notifications will only be sent when the auto batch experiences a seccussful batch or a failed batch.

I have an older version of Aldelo. Everytime I restart my back office computer, a program called Aldelo Polling Client opens up. What is the function of that program?

Can I apply more then 1 coupon to an order?
Posted onIn Aldelo you can apply one discount to an entire order, and another coupon to each individual item. These have to be different coupons that have been applied to the individual item vs. the entire order. If you need to use the same coupon or discount we recommend using separate tickets.

I get this error message when I open Aldelo after turning my computer on or rebooting it “This POS software requires Aldelo EDC version 6.2 or later. This message will appear if older version of EDC in use or if network communication with EDC server is not able to be attained.”I have Aldelo EDC 6.2 – why am I getting this error message?
Posted onA good place to start on a software error would be to go into your control panel into windows and go to your add/remove programs option. Select the Aldelo EDC and choose the option to modify or repair if this does not work we recommend contacting Aldelo or your reseller for further troubleshooting.
